Hanns Seidel Foundation (self-portrayal)

The aim of the Hanns Seidel Foundation’s scholarship programme is to contribute to the education of junior academics who are highly qualified both personally and in terms of academic performance. Therefore the Foundation supports students and doctoral candidates with above-average academic achievements at school and/or university who are simultaneously committed socially and politically. In the area of scholarships for students with outstanding achievements, the Hanns Seidel Foundation demonstrates its liberality especially by accepting a wide range of possibilities for social commitment. This can be in the field of open youth work or in social work, in student organisations or in denominational youth groups. Of course commitment to a political party is also accepted.
