Andrea D. Bührmann will chair two panels at the joint Sociology Congress of the German Sociological Association (GSA/DGS) and the Austrian Association for Sociology (ÖGS). Together with Alexandra Manske (University of Hamburg) and Lena Schürmann (HU Berlin) she will chair the ad hoc group "Neuverhandlungen von selbständiger Arbeit in der Krise - Gesellschaftliche Folgen der Corona-Pandemie" (renegotiations of self-employed labour in the crisis - societal effects of the coronavirus pandemic" on 23. August. On 24. August she will chair the ad hoc group "Transdisziplinäre Forschung - ein wegweisender Modus der Krisenbearbeitung?" (Transdisciplinary research - a pioneering mode of crisis management?) together with Stephan Lorenz (FSU Jena).
