Supported by a foundation, the Vordemann collection is available to academic teaching and research since the early 1960s. The Collection contains children´s books from the beginning of the 18th Century to the beginning of the 20th Century. It is named after the superintendent Karl Vordemann (1850-1931) who lived in Göttingen and collected children´s literature for many years.
