- Last Friday (March 18), Mingya Liu delivered a talk on "How Evaluative Adverbs Project and Why" at the University of Tuebingen.
She will also present a paper on "The Undefinedness of Conventional Implicatures" at MOSS (Moscow Syntax and Semantics) 2 (April 22-24). - Ilaria Frana and Kyle Rawlins (John Hopkins) will present a joint poster at SALT 21, to be held at Rutgers University on May 20 - 22. Their presentation is entitled "Unconditional concealed questions and the nature of Heim's ambiguity."
- Paula Menéndez-Benito and Luis Alonso-Ovalle will also present a joint poster at SALT 21. The title of their presentation is "Two Types of Epistemic Indefinites: Private Ignorance vs. Public Indifference."
Upcoming Talks
- On April 13, Floris Roelofsen (University of Amsterdam) will deliver a talk at the Courant Center "Text Structures". The title of this talk is "Polarity particles as a window into the semantics of questions". Place: Seminarraum CRC, Nikolausberger Weg 23 (2. OG). Time: 14:00-16:00.
