PROF. DR. DR. FABIAN JINTAE FROESE
Fabian Jintae Froese is Professor and Chair of Human Resource Management and Asian Business at the University of Göttingen.
His research focuses on the future of work, international human resource management, cross-cultural management, and Asian business.
He has published widely in leading journals such as the Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Applied Psychology, and Human Resource Management.
His work has been recognized with numerous international awards, including several best paper prizes from the Academy of Management, Academy of International Business, and European Academy of Management.
Professor Froese has held visiting and joint appointments at leading institutions worldwide, including Yonsei University (South Korea), Keio University (Japan), and the University of Leeds (UK).
He is actively engaged in academic service, having served as Editor-in-Chief of Asian Business & Management (2018–2023) and currently as Senior Editor of the International Business Review and Associate Editor of The International Journal of Human Resource Management.
He has led multiple international research projects funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the European Commission, the National Research Foundation of Korea, and the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science.
He has also developed double degree and exchange programs with top universities in Asia. Beyond academia, he has consulted for multinational corporations and international organizations on international business and human resource management.
