Lebenshaltungskosten
There are no tuition fees but a semester fee of approx. 350 Euro/semester including free regional public transport. We have two semester per year.
Additional costs are a compulsory health insurance of 90 Euro/month (if you are older than 30 years it is about 160 Euro) and a compulsory fee for public broadcasting of 17,98 Euro/month/flat/room.
Altogether including rent and living costs you need to calculate 800-1000 Euro/month minimum.
For international students with no or only little knowledge of German language there are very limited options regarding job opportunities. So please make sure your financial situation is based on solid ground for your study time in Germany.
