SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

My major goal as a scientist is to satisfy my curiosity about the hidden molecular world inside of our bodies and to discover, even if small, details that might help others exploring the sea of knowledge after me. I am fascinated by the field of molecular oncology, the mechanisms by which cells grow uncontrollably, and the mechanisms by which scientists try to stop that from happening, including the non-conventional techniques such as CRISPR-Cas9 system, immunotherapy, stem cell therapy, angiogenesis inhibitors, and telomerase inhibitors; all of which intercorrelate with some other very interesting fields that can also help us better comprehend and analyze cancer on the molecular level. I am looking forward to working on some of these intercorrelations between different fields using molecular biology as the piece in the middle.
