SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I am fascinated by the signaling mechanisms in the body and how some of them get mutated during particular diseases. The insulin signaling cascade has been my prime interest. DNA replication and repair is a topic that excites me the most. I aim to do my research on how different markers can be used to find DNA mutations and the strategies that could be employed to repair them.
