SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I am highly interested in a variety of life sciences topics from a molecular to histological level. Of particular interest to me are oncological and inflammatory processes and how these are intertwined. I am also fascinated by research on infectious diseases and essential cellular functions such as apoptosis and proliferation. Through this program, I am hoping to broaden my knowledge about a range of topics from microbiology to cell cycle mechanisms but also about scientific methods such as different microscopy techniques. My aim as a researcher is to contribute to results that can ultimately be transferred to the human body and benefit future patients.
