SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS
My drive to pursue molecular biology stems from wanting to learn more about immunology. It is a vast and interconnected system with a large scope for research to help understand cellular and disease mechanisms involved in inflammation, autoimmunity and cancer. With a better knowledge of tools used in immunology, gene expression, and cell biology, I want to be able to contribute to this research as well as the development of possible therapeutic approaches.
