SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I have become increasingly fascinated by the relationship between the structure and function of macromolecules. I would therefore like to gain expertise in solving and analyzing structures. What particularly interests me is the analysis of interaction sites with these methods and how a malfunctioning at this end can cause diseases. Nonetheless, I am keeping my mind open and I am keen to explore further areas of molecular biology during my time in Göttingen.
