Profound experience in molecular biology and biochemistry. Techniques such as site-directed mutagenesis, biochemical methods for protein purification and analysis (ELISA, western blot, cysteine accessibility analysis), cell culture techniques as well as basics in bioinformatic analysis with R and hhpred.

SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I am interested in the close connection of structure and function of proteins, which can be revealed by biochemical analysis, as well as in the various defense strategies of bacteria and their interactions with the host. My goal is to work in an interdisciplinary group where I can make a contribution to biomedical research.
