SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS
I am particularly interested in medically relevant topics such as the very basic research elucidating the origin of disease to which both genetic predisposition and environmental factors contribute. Apart from this, I have become intrigued by novel diagnostic and treatment options as well as the development of biological resources in the area of regenerative medicine. Keeping an open mind during the first part of this program, I aim at finding an especially exciting topic in this field that I can pursue my scientific career in.
