Project

Yuqiu Chen is currently a PhD-student at the Department of German Philology and the PhD-program "Behavior and Cognition" at the University of Göttingen. The research focuses on presuppositions at the semantics-pragmatics interface, especially on their classification, acquisition and cross-linguistic comparison.

Research interests

The main research interests are theoretical and experimental linguistics, the semantic-pragmatics interface with a focus on implicatures and presuppositions, and German in L1 and L2 acquisitions.
