Equivalence Check

If you have received your mat.-nat. Master’s degree (M.Sc.) outside of Germany, an equivalence check will be necessary.

In this case, please submit the following documents to the faculty via e-mail to promotion@biologie.uni-goettingen.de:

• Master’s degree diploma
• Transcript of records (bachelor and master studies)
• Short summary of the master thesis, including statement on the duration and achieved credits
• CV

Your documents must be reviewed and evaluated by the PhD Council. Therefore, please submit them no later than three months prior to your application. You will receive a signed certificate of equivalence.
