SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

My main goal in studying biology is to understand the pathways that govern cells and the effects that these pathways have on disease and development. One of my main interests currently is non-coding RNA as it is a prime example of how multi-layered and pathways can be. However, I believe that understanding the nature of diseases such as cancer requires knowledge on a range of components and how they interact. Hence, I am excited to expand my horizons to hopefully solidify the trajectory of my future career.
