SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

Among the many fascinating areas within molecular biology, I am particularly drawn to the biomedical field. My main professional interest lies in studying molecular, cellular and biochemical basis and mechanisms of various diseases and using this knowledge for their prevention and treatment. I am especially interested in neurobiology, immunobiology and oncology. With some research experience in neurobiology, I am eager to expand my knowledge in this field and explore neurodegenerative disorders in more depth. Additionally, I am keen to learn more about signaling pathways in cancer metabolism and immune responses against various pathogens. My goal is to contribute to addressing modern medical and healthcare challenges and I believe this program will provide me with all the necessary practical and theoretical knowledge to achieve this.
