Workshop "Managing your PhD with ease" by Dr. Insa Flachsbarth
January 23-24, 2025 DescriptionWorking in science comes with a great level of flexibility, individual responsibilities and scientific freedom which entails many personal possibilities and options for research. Yet, these choices can be utterly overwhelming and result in uncertainty, an overload of tasks, never ending to dos with stress and anxiety. This training helps individual researchers to find clarity around their bigger professional and private goals, and align their day-to-day research with this vision. On this inner foundation, the training provides hands-on time management tools to plan, structure and focus the PhD journey and everyday life, so that the participants can move forward consistently with ease. They will learn how to prioritise their daily and weekly tasks naturally, so that the normal struggles in their scientific life get replaced by more purpose, ease and joy.
