Research & Findings
The TRANSMIT project generates new scientific knowledge on forest dynamics, ecosystem services, and climate-related risks in the Western Himalayas. By combining Earth Observation, field-based research, and participatory approaches, the project improves understanding of the interactions between climate change, land use, and forest-related hazards.
Research activities address past and current conditions, explore future scenarios, and support the development of practical solutions for sustainable forest and fire management.
This page presents key findings and publications generated across the Work Packages.
