Sara Mirjavadi

Sara Mirjavadi is a master's student in English: Language, Literature, and Culture at the University of Göttingen. Originally from the north of Iran, she previously worked as a translator in her home country, translating books, which continues to inform her interest in intercultural communication and processes of meaning-making across languages. Alongside her studies, she writes film reviews and cultural criticism, including contributions to Litlog. She also tries very hard to work on her passion project, which is writing short stories. she has also been involved with the Filmfest Osnabrück, further developing her interest in international cinema and cultural exchange. She is very excited to be part of the Euroculture Team.

She is a student assistant of the Euroculture Programme, where she supports general student enquiries, programme activities and events, and assists with the coordination and organisation of master theses.
