Vocational areas

• Car Mechatronics;
• Electricians in the branches automation (industrial sector) and electrical engineering (craft sector);
• Business and Administration; and
• Social and Health Care.

The selection of vocational areas is based on earlier works and discussions with experts from different European countries involved in the process for developing a concept for VET-LSA. The aim was to include some of the most important industrial/technical, commercial/administrative, and care occupations in the sample, which lead to a first selection of vocational areas: First, industrial/technical occupations in industry and trade; second, commercial and commercial/administrative occupations in commerce and other services; and third, healthcare occupations in the field of individual-related services.
