SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I want to study and understand how the brain, a simple looking slimy mass of tissue, can control the complex body functions and various other emotional and psychological aspects of life. My career objectives lie in the pursuance of research and academics in neuroscience, especially in deciphering the major cause behind neurodegenerative diseases, in order to devise novel therapeutic cures and drugs. I am also fascinated by stem cells and want to look for possibilities of using them as a possible cure for neurodegenerative diseases.
