SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

The inflammatory pathway associated with innate immunity really interests me. In the future, I would like to do research on how inflammation plays an important role in the pathophysiology associated with various neurodegenerative diseases and autoimmune disorders. Subsequently, this could help in devising new therapies for combating these diseases. Hence, I am looking forward to gaining more insight on the numerous aspects of biology that would complement my area of research.
