Hofgeismar, 08.-10.04.26: The CRC 1633 Retreat 2026 will take place April 08-10 in Ev. Tagungsstätte Hofgeismar. The meeting serves to present the current status of the subprojects and to refine the strategy for the continuation application. In addition, the general assembly will be held and there will be guest lectures.


CataLysis Networking Conference 2026
CataLysis Network

Weimar, 20.-22.05.26: The CataLysis Networking Conference 2026 as the 4th joint conference within the CataLysis Network will take place May 20-22 in Leonardo Hotel Weimar. The Conference will bring together the communities of the German DFG-funded collaborative research centers (CRCs) or Transregios (TRRs) working within the field of catalysis. Up to 200 participants form the CataLysis CRCs will exchange on their latest research. Talks from each CRC/ TRR will be presented in two parallel sessions next to poster sessions. Göttingen, 14.-18.09.26: Prof. Inke Siewert and CRC 1633 will host the "5th International Conference on Proton-Coupled Electron Transfer". Registration will open soon. Scientific Advisory Board: Cyrille Costentin (Grenoble-Alpes University), Jillian L. Dempsey (UNC Chapel Hill), Leif Hammarström (Uppsala University), Sharon Hammes-Schiffer (Princeton University), James Mayer (Yale University), Alexander J. M. Miller (UNC Chapel Hill), Marc Robert (Sorbonne Université) and Oliver Wenger (Basel University). The meeting brings together researchers from various subdisciplines of the field of proton-coupled electron transfer and provides a venue to share the latest results. More information

Ebsdorfergrund, 05.-07.10.26: The MGK Retreat 2026 will take place October 05-07 in Schloßhotel Rauischholzhausen. The meeting serves to present the current status of the subprojects in project pitches and poster presentations. In addition, it will host the Methods Course "Theoretical Modelling of Nuclear Quantum Effects" by Prof. Ricardo Mata and there will be space for social activities.
