SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS
In my opinion, the development of a normal animal organism from a single cell represents one of the most spectacular phenomena in biology. I am highly interested in communication between cells, gene expression patterns, as well as the intricacy of epigenetic control during development. Undoubtedly, I am coming to the Max Planck Research School with an open mind, eager to accept new ideas and proposals. I am looking forward to the upcoming laboratory training, and learning more about fascinating research that lies at the edge of known science. I hope that by the end of my studies here I will be able to conduct independent research, allowing me to make a true contribution to science and knowledge.
