SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

Human behavior can be described and investigated at different levels of description. This interdisciplinary course provides an understanding of nervous system function from the molecular to the behavioral level. My main goal is to learn a number of different techniques which I can apply to new problems in my later scientific career. I am particularly interested in neuron modeling as well as nervous system development and its relation to developmental disorders.
