Linda Eijsink was born in Hengelo (The Netherlands) in 1992. She finished her BSc (2014) and MSc (2017) at the University of Groningen. Her MSc project, under the guidance of Prof. Edwin Otten, was on metal-ligand cooperative activation of nitriles by a ruthenium complex with a de-aromatized PNN pincer ligand. In 2016, she worked in the group of Prof. A. Brückner at the Leibniz-Institut für Katalyse on reaction monitoring in oxidation chemistry using simultaneously coupled operando EPR/UV-Vis/ATR-IR spectroscopy. She started her PhD studies in the Browne group at the same University in 2018, focusing on cobalt-free curing of vinylester-styrene coatings, funded by the Advanced Research Center - Chemical Building Blocks Consortium. After her defense in 2022, she moved to the University of Göttingen to do a postdoc in the Simeth Group as a member of the MBExC.
