Catalysis for Sustainable Synthesis (CaSuS)
International Ph.D. Program Catalysis for Sustainable Synthesis (CaSuS) at the Georg-August-University Göttingen and the Technical University Braunschweig
Within the doctoral program CaSuS, supervisors from the Department of Chemistry of the University of Göttingen and the Department of Life Sciences of the TU Braunschweig offer Ph.D. positions on research subjects in the area of catalysis. In addition to cutting-edge research, a specific interdisciplinary educational program including lectures and workshops, conferences, excursions and secondary skill courses, is part of CaSuS.
The program started October 2009 at the University Göttingen and was funded until September 2013 by the Ministry for Science and Culture of the State of Lower Saxony (15 Lichtenberg fellowships). A second funding period has been approved starting October 2014. Research groups and courses/events will now be located at Göttingen and Braunschweig.
Lectures and courses are held in English, and the thesis must be written in English.
