Anna-Christina Boell
Anna-Christina Boell studied Philosophy and Germanic Studies in Bonn, Göttingen, and Dublin. In 2014 she graduated with an interdisciplinary M.A. thesis on the theory of metaphors in signed and spoken languages. Prior to her graduation she worked as a student and research assitant in the Institut für Wissenschaft und Ethik (IWE) in Bonn as well as the Department of Linguistics in Göttingen.
After graduating Anna-Christina Boell worked in the XPrag project Exhaustivity in Cleft Sentences. She is working on a PhD thesis on the impact of focus particles to the exhaustivity in it-clefts.
Her interests lie in Philosophy of Language, Formal Semantics and Pragmatics and Sign Language.
