Johanna Klages
Johanna Klages studied German Philology, Philosophy, and Linguistics at the University of Göttingen. During her studies she completed a research internship at the "Language Acquisition and Language Processing Lab" of the NTNU in Trondheim, Norway. From 2011-2015 she worked as a research assistant at the Department of German Philology and the Courant Research Centre "Text Structures". In 2014 she graduated in General Linguistics with a psycholinguistic MA thesis about the processing of implicit causality and projective content. She holds a scholarship awarded by the interdisciplinary graduate programme TMTG. In addition, she is associated with the XPrag.de project "The What and When of Processing Projective content". Very broadly, her main interests lie in experimental semantics and pragmatics. In her current doctoral thesis, she is addressing the processing of referential expressions under pragmatic operators.
