Genomic prediction aims at forecasting properties of individuals based on available genetic data. I am developing statistical methods that allow to incorporate a priori available information on the biology of the considered trait into statistical approaches. The goal is to combine the great knowledge on molecular biology, physiology and genetics that is now provided in public data bases with statistical approaches to improve the predictive ability of phenotypes.
