Prof. Dr. Andrea D. Bührmann is Visiting Professor at the German Institute for Japanese Studies Tokyo
In July and August 2018, Andrea D. Bührmann is visiting professor at the German Institute for Japanese Studies Tokyo. The German Institute for Japanese Studies is an interdisciplinary research institution, enhancing knowledge on modern Japanese society, economy, politics and culture in a comparative perspective. Within its current interdisciplinary and comparative research programme "Risks and Opportunities in Japan - Challenges in the Face of an Increasingly Uncertain Future", DIJ has a focus on diversity in Japan.
During her stay in Tokyo, Andrea D. Bührmann will exchange with on-site researchers on differences and commonalities in disseminating and implementing diversity management concepts in Germany and Japan, focussing on businesses and Higher Education institutions.
