Goal 6 – Clean water and sanitation
Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all
Goal 6 aims to provide access to safe and affordable drinking water supply and equitable sanitation. Water quality should be improved, and water-use should be made more efficient. Water-related ecosystems must be protected and restored.In doing so, international cooperation, support of developing countries and participation of local communities are important.*
