The scientists met in mid-September for the second project workshop at Reinshof, the experimental farm of the University of Göttingen. During this workshop, they exchanged information on the results achieved so far and discussed the further procedure and cooperation. Within the framework of the Tomato Day of the Division of Genetic Resources and Organic Plant Breeding, the guests - all of them with practical experience - and project partners not only had the opportunity to visit this year's experiment, but also to become active. They had the opportunity to select in the breeding material. Some of the individual plants could be tasted on site, so that the guests were able to experience directly not only the variety of colors and sizes, but also the flavor components. It became apparent that the tastes and preferences of the guests were quite different for the tomatoes.
