Content


Production-oriented Business Information Systems is primarily concerned with production planning and production control under the influence of work planning, including current scientific and practice-oriented discussion points. It also addresses the classical problem areas of industrial production. This course deals with the use of information systems in the production area of industrial companies, focusing on the business processes of order processing (PPS/ERP systems) and product development (CAx systems). Practical examples and demonstrations illustrate the use of such systems.
