SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

Life on the molecular level fascinates me due to the complex yet well-orchestrated interplay of thousands of molecules. I am especially interested in the dysregulation of these processes in diseases such as cancer and in the development of means for diagnosis and cure. In the future I would like to continue working in this cutting-edge field of translating findings from molecular biology to diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
