SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS
My main interests are in molecular biology and biotechnology. For me, the process by which a cell creates a protein is outstanding. And I think that, if we fully understand a process, then we can break it apart and modify it to fit our purposes. That's why I think molecular biology and biotechnology together are a great tool to enhance processes, either by simplifying them, making them cheaper or making them environmentally friendly. Because of this, I would like to work on protein technology for industrial processes or on antibiotics development.
