SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

So far, all my internships and research projects have mainly focused on cancer research. Through my research on the potential role of SNPs in breast cancer, however, I also became very interested in inherited diseases. I am especially fascinated by the complex interactions of proteins in pathways and how one missing or malfunctioning protein in a pathway can lead to devastating diseases.
