Dr. Daniel Brauer

Dr. Daniel Brauer has been a judge of the State of Hesse since 2016. From 2018 to 2019, he was seconded as a research assistant to the Federal Administrative Court. During this time, Dr. Brauer was appointed a judge at the Administrative Court. In 2021, he was appointed to the Higher Administrative Court of Hesse, and in 2024, he was appointed as the Presiding Judge at the Higher Administrative Court of Hesse. Also in 2024, he was appointed Chair of the State Professional Court for Health Professions (Hesse). Since January 1, 2025, Dr. Brauer has been the President of the Administrative Court of Kassel and, in a secondary capacity, continues to serve as a judge at the Higher Administrative Court of Hesse.He has been actively involved in the training of young legal professionals for many years. In this context, he is also a lecturer at the Georg-August University of Göttingen. Additionally, he has published numerous academic contributions.
