Academic Background
Valentin Kissmann studied International Economics (M. Sc.) and Economics + Business Studies (B. Sc.) in Göttingen, Pune (India) and Stuttgart-Hohenheim. During his studies, he worked as a research assistant at the ifo Institute (Leibniz Institute for Economic Research at the University of Munich) and the Chair of Development Economics at the University of Göttingen. He also completed an internship at the Leibniz Center for European Economic Research in Mannheim. He gained practical experience as a working student at the software companies Dassault Systèmes and Cenit AG. Since March 2024, Valentin Kissmann has been a research assistant and doctoral candidate at the Chair of Economic Policy and SME Research and the ifh Göttingen.
