Jonathan Lessing, M.Sc.

Jonathan Lessing is a strategist at KfW IPEX-Bank and an external doctoral student at the Chair of Development Economics led by Prof. Andreas Fuchs.

Jonathan holds master’s degrees in international economics from the University of Groningen (The Netherlands) and Fudan University (Shanghai, China); he holds a bachelor’s degree in Banking & Finance from FOM University of Applied Sciences (Düsseldorf, Germany).

His main research focus is the means and effects of private capital mobilization in the context of development cooperation.
