Dr Judith Holland

Dr Judith Holland (she/her) is a senior researcher at the Institute of Sociology at Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg and is currently involved in the project ‘East German co-determination in historical change’, which is funded by the Hans Böckler Foundation. She studied French, Political sciences and Sociology and holds a PhD in Sociology. Her research interests focus on Gender Studies, Sociology of work and organisation and comparative social analysis. She has researched women in trade unions in international comparison, industrial relations, co-determination in historical change and collective bargaining policy in a feminist perspective. She works primarily with methods of reconstructive social research.
