Note: The exercise is integrated into the lecture and complemented by e-learning. The course therefore only takes place during the lecture period.
Note:This module will replace the „Introduction to Business Administration and Entrepreneurship" module starting from the summer semester of 2025.
Learning outcomes
Building on the challenges of sustainability for our society and the economy, students will acquire knowledge of fundamental areas of business administration upon successful completion of the module, including the management process, organization, personnel management, legal forms and business associations, functional areas such as procurement, production and sales, as well as accounting and finance. All subject areas will be analyzed from a sustainability-oriented perspective, focusing on the three dimensions of sustainability: economy, ecology, and social aspects. This will enable students to gain essential competencies in sustainability-oriented business administration.
