Current projects

In my PhD project, ‘Social spaces as transformative innovations in public services? Perspectives on spatial justice in rural regions’ ,I am investigating the extent to which the creation and design of social spaces in rural regions may influence spatial justice and socio-ecological transformation. The research design follows a deductive-inductive, comparative case study approach, preceded by a typology of social spaces.

The PhD is being conducted as part of the doctoral programme ‘Dimensions of Justice in Sustainability-Oriented Transformation Processes in Rural Areas’ at the University of Vechta, funded by the Hans Böckler Foundation.
