Trade and Environment
Our research on trade and the environment examines how international trade,
trade conflicts, and environmental policies affect pollution, natural resources,
climate outcomes, and human health.
A particular focus is on the environmental consequences of trade shocks and
policy interventions, including changes in environmental enforcement,
deforestation, low-carbon policies, and the distribution of environmental costs
across firms, regions, and households.
