DGstat - an interactive database for statistics in the German-speaking community of Belgium

Project objectives:
The project's objective was to modernize and to improve the collection and analysis of statistical data in the administration of the German-speaking community of Belgium. The improvement of quantitative governance and evaluation methods for politics, public authorities, economy and social partners was achieved by:

• an extension and systematization of the data base and data collection
  
• an demand-oriented data preparation
  
• the development of adapted analysis tools
  
• the creation of an interactive platform containing a website, a data base for statistics and publications.

The project was partially financed by the European Social Fund (ESF).
