Visualization of communication
ADD-up is an innovative system for the visualization of communication. During a debate, the contributions are analyzed live and presented on a screen parallel to the debate. This makes it clear, for example, who has raised which issues and whether these issues play a role in the further course of the debate
How does ADD-up work?
ADD-up uses statistical methods as well as methods from the field of artificial intelligence, especially large language models, which are known to many since the publication of ChatGPT. Based on such language models, e.g. topics and arguments are automatically recognized by the system.
Why is ADD-up useful?
ADD-up helps to make debates more goal-oriented and can contribute to objectification. Because topics and arguments are visible on the screen, they remain present in the course of the conversation.
Where is ADD-up used?
ADD-up could be used, for example, on talk shows or in TV duels and make it easier for presenters to moderate the conversation. But viewers could also look at the individual arguments again after a debate and decide who presented the better arguments.
