SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I am amazed by how a wide range of complicated chemical reactions take place in the cells. Understanding these complicated reactions and the organism at a cellular level plays a key role in finding treatments for various diseases. That’s why I intend to pursue my research in the field of biochemistry and am currently interested in cellular metabolism and mitochondria. The MSc/PhD Molecular Biology Program is a great opportunity for me to gain insight into a broad range of research areas and explore various molecular biology and biochemistry techniques.
