Coaching for Newly Appointed Female Professors

Within the framework of the programme pillar "Coaching for Female Professors", newly appointed female professors are supported during their introductory phase at the University of Göttingen. The focus is on topics such as the diversity of roles and tasks as an executive and the balance between academic career and private life.

Female professors are given the opportunity to find the right coach for themselves from a pool of external coaches who have experience with executives in the academic field as well as gender and intercultural skills. The coaching costs are subsidised by the Dorothea Schlözer Programme. An application for funding is handed out during the placement interview.
