Degree programmes

At the Faculty of Physics, you can choose between a consecutive Bachelor's/Master's programme in physics and the teacher training programme (Gymnasien) with physics as a subject. After completing the Master's programme, the faculty, as a renowned research institution, offers the opportunity to do a doctorate in many subject disciplines. In addition, we offer a combined Master's/PhD programme Matter to Life together with the Universities of Heidelberg and Munich.

Georg-August-University School of Science (GAUSS)

The Faculty of Physics is a member of the Georg-August-University School of Science (GAUSS), under whose umbrella doctoral training in the natural sciences is bundled.
